PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL CLASS
Duration: 1 hour Cost: from £45 (per person)
Private individual classes are ideal for someone new to Pilates looking for a custom made class that hones in on your specific needs. The first class will start with 10 - 15 minutes to analyse your posture and discuss what you'd like to achieve. You will also be given a consultation for things you can try at home to help you along the way!
SMALL GROUP CLASS
Duration: 1 hour Cost: from £20 (per person)
If you have 1 or 2 friends who would also like private pilates classes, you can sign up for small group classes where each client still gets a class catered to their needs, but shares the time and space with the other participants. This is great for a small group of friends that feel comfortable enough to do a class with careful guidance but without a 1-on-1 instructor.
Either of the above can be converted into an ante or post natal class at the same price. Pilates is the ideal exercise to prep the body for child bearing and birth and Jen incorporates the right balance of conditioning, breathing, pelvic floor exercises and relaxation into the class. Postnatal classes focus on reconnecting with the core and pelvic floor and rebuilding stamina and energy levels.
PRE & POSTNATAL MAT CLASSES
Duration: 1 hour Cost: from £10 (per person)
Jen also runs pre and postnatal mat classes at Pilates Living N16 and Yogahome in Stoke Newington. These classes are a great way to get to know other mums and take a lighter and more social approach to your pilates practise. The main focus for the pregnancy classes is alignment, strengthening muscles to prep the body for a growing belly, pelvic floor, breathing and relaxation. For postnatal there is a larger focus on regathering the core muscles, pelvic floor, release work and stretching and strengthening postural muscles. You can even bring your baby!

These classes focus on eliminating back pain, working on the length and flexibility of the spine, encouraging good posture as well as offering tips for little exercises you can do at your desk to get you through the day.
